Objectives of N-TONE

1. To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and dissemination of
information and materials relative to nursing service administration
and management.

2. To provide a forum for health care nurse executives and leaders to
speak to issues relevant to nursing.

3. To promote educational programs for nurse (leaders) dealing with
current issues, relevant to nursing administration and health care
issues.

4. To promote educational programs for nurse leaders in developing
management skills through mentoring and educational programs
dealing with current issues in health care.

5. To work in concert with TONE to impact legislative changes that
effect health care in the State of Texas.

6. To collaborate with other nursing groups and health care entities to
facilitate professional development for the growth and advancement
of nursing practice and safe patient care through research and
evidence-based practice.

7. To work with academic institutes to promote the profession of
nursing.
