This will be a one day conference featuring Marsha Borling.  Borling specializes in the areas of executive leadership development, trustee and medical staff relations, employee relations, and organizational planning. As an experienced group facilitator, project leader and public speaker, Borling is a frequent presenter at state, regional and national healthcare conferences, addressing topics such as the nursing shortage and how to build a retention climate.   Networking - TONE is a not-for-profit organization that provides nursing executives a forum for generating ideas, sharing problems, and developing solutions. Our purpose is to be the voice of nursing leaders throughout Texas shaping the future of nursing for generations to come. Legislative Updates - TONE continually updates its members on the Texas Legislature topics that directly affect you as a nurse executive.  This is especially important with the work that is now happening in legislative committees preparing for the 2009 Texas Legislative session. State and National Affiliation -  TONE is affiliated with the Texas Hospital Association as well as being the state chapter for the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE).  We keep you current on what is happening not only on the state level but on national issues too.
