Nursing administrators, nurse executives, chief of nursing officers or the highest level management position in nursing services in a healthcare organization and/or healthcare regulatory agency. Nurse managers & directors holding line management responsibility, to include, but not limited to, patient care management, human resources management as well as fiscal & material resource management. Faculty in graduate nursing administration programs, deans & directors of schools of nursing, consultants in healthcare/ nursing administration, employees of healthcare regulatory agencies (JCAHO, TDH), editors of professional nursing journals, directors of nursing agencies, student nurses enrolled in a relevant degree program with a career path in nursing administration. An Associate Member may vote and hold office.

A healthcare consumer or member of the corporate or political community who is interested in working towards advancement of a healthcare system driven by the needs of patients. An Affiliate Member may not hold office.
